Ok, many people have probably stumbled upon anti-masonryi. I will quickly demonstrate here its tactics...
There is a list on a certain anti-masonic website about Freemasons who talk about Satan. It misquotes passages and takes things way out of context. For instance this:
'Illustrious' Manley Palmer Hall 33°
The Secret Teachings of All Ages
"I hereby promise the Great Spirit Lucifer, Prince of Demons, that each year I will bring unto him a human soul to do with as as it may please him, and in return Lucifer promises to bestow upon me the treasures of the earth and fulfil my every desire for the length of my natural life. If I fail to bring him each year the offering specified above, then my own soul shall be forfeit to him. Signed..... { Invocant signs pact with his own blood } " page CIV
Now it may seem like Manly P. Hall is saying this or instructing us to do such a thing. However, this website has forgotten to add sub-quotations, as Manly P. Hall is actually quoting something, not saying this directly. This passage is taken from a chapter in his book dealing with ceremonial magic, and in this very chapter he denounces black magic and its practicioners. A careful reading of this chapter will quickly reveal that Manly P. Hall is indeed mocking black magic and showing what the typical "pact" with the devil/demon might look like. He clearly describes this as selfish and destructive, and references the story of Faust, which if you are not familiar with this story it is about a man who sells his soul.
The website takes this out of context and tries to make it look like Manly P. Hall is teaching us to do what he is actually warning us about. These are lies, and it should show what kind of credibility these liars have. They obviously realize that most people will not go and find the original quote, and they consciously choose not to show that Manly P. Hall is quoting something else. A devious methodology indeed...
fraternally,
Rick P.

Well, just remember...
...that these are the same people who will selectively take passages from their own holy book, ignoring others (like "thou shalt not bear false witness..."), in order to make it say just exactly what they want it to say. Devious, but not particularly ingenious, and most certainly dishonest. These people serve not God, but themselves and their own passions and prejudices.
